Your pigeons.
Your privacy.

This notice covers the All About Pigeons Android and iPhone apps and the allaboutpigeons.com website. Updated 6 September 2026.

Camera and photos

The mobile app uses the camera, or a photo you choose, only when you ask it to identify a pigeon. Image analysis happens on your device. The app does not upload the photo to our servers.

Location and saved sightings

If you allow location access, the app can attach latitude and longitude to a sighting you save. Your collection and saved sightings remain on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. You may use identification without saving a sighting, deny location permission, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.

Maps and network access

The Android map downloads map tiles from OpenStreetMap infrastructure. Like most web requests, its operators may receive technical information such as your IP address and device request details. The app does not send them your saved sighting records.

Website accounts

Website registration, sign-in, interest forms and cookies are separate from the mobile app's on-device loft. The website stores the account information you submit so it can provide your account and respond to your requests. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices and contact

You can change camera and location permissions in your phone settings. For access, correction, deletion or privacy questions, email contact@allaboutpigeons.com.
