GEAR & READING · EDITORIAL GUIDE

Start with
curiosity.

You don’t need a shopping basket to enjoy pigeons. A phone, a notebook and a respectful distance are a good start.

Keep a field notebook

Record the date, place, behaviour and what you are unsure about. A simple notebook is enough; avoid publishing precise nesting locations.

Choose optics deliberately

If you want binoculars, try them before buying. Comfort, weight and ease of focusing matter more than an impressive specification sheet.

Read widely

Look for a regional bird guide, a book about domestic pigeon history, and reputable local wildlife resources. Libraries are a useful starting point.

A future shop with a purpose

We are exploring original pigeon prints, shirts and stickers. There are no products available to order yet.
